What dental veneers involves

A veneer covers the visible surface of a tooth. It can close a small gap, even out a chipped edge, or change the shade of a tooth that does not respond to whitening. Because veneers involve preparing the natural tooth surface, we treat them as a considered decision rather than a quick fix. We will talk through what is reversible, what is not, and whether something simpler would get you what you want.

What happens at the appointment

We assess your teeth, match the shade and take an impression or a scan.

We prepare the tooth surface and fit a temporary if you need one.

We bond the finished veneers and check the bite and appearance with you.

Afterwards

You clean veneers like natural teeth. Habits such as biting your nails, opening things with your teeth, or grinding can chip them, so we will raise those with you.
